It covers our website, our phone and messaging systems, and the private staff application ("Alpha Pest") our employees use to answer the business line.

- Service address, and details about the property relevant to treatment
- What you are dealing with: the pest, what you have seen, where and when
- Appointment details and service history
- Notes our staff take during a call or a visit
Information created when you contact us
- Call records: the number that called, the time, and how long the call lasted
- Voicemail recordings and written transcripts of them
- Text message content and delivery records, if you text us
- Questions our staff ask our internal assistant while helping you, together with the answer, so we can check the advice we gave was correct
What we do not collect
- We do not collect payment card numbers through this website or the staff app.
- We do not track your location.
- The Alpha Pest staff application is not available to the public. It is used only by our own employees, requires a staff password, and collects no information from customers directly.
Why we use it
- To answer your call, message, or form and give you a quote
- To schedule, perform, and follow up on pest control service
- To reach you about an appointment, including confirmations and reminders
- To keep an accurate service history for your property
- To answer questions and resolve problems
- To meet legal, insurance, and pesticide-application record-keeping obligations
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only so they can perform that work for us:
- Our telephone and messaging provider, which carries calls and texts and stores voicemail
- Our transcription provider, which converts voicemail audio to text
- Our hosting and database providers, which store this website and our customer records
- Our scheduling and field service software, which holds appointments and service history
We also disclose information where the law requires it, such as a valid legal request, or where necessary to protect someone's safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent, trade, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Text messages
If you agree to receive text messages from Alpha Pest Solutions:
- Your mobile number, your consent to be texted, and any information you send us by text are never sold, rented, shared, or otherwise passed to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This includes not sharing that consent with any other company.
- Your consent applies only to Alpha Pest Solutions and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
- Service providers involved in delivering the messages process this information solely to send them on our behalf.
- Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying pest control service from us.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop messages, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

How we protect it
Customer records are held in access-controlled systems that require a password, and data is encrypted in transit. Only Alpha Pest Solutions staff can reach customer records. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and service records for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as we need them to answer questions about past work, to honour warranties, and to meet the record-keeping periods that apply to pesticide applications and to our insurance and tax obligations. When a record is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it.
Your choices
- See what we hold. Ask us and we will tell you.
- Correct it. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
- Delete it. Ask us to delete your information and we will, except where we are required to keep a record by law.
- Stop messages. Reply STOP to any text, or tell us by phone or email.
Email service@pestalpha.com for any of these. We do not charge for handling a request and we will not treat you differently for making one.
Children
Our services are sold to adults and our website and staff application are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
